A global integrated energy business, and one of the world’s leading energy producers, needed to reduce their dependence on a traditional wired LAN infrastructure and take advantage of new Wi- Fi technologies.
A significant part of this programme was the deployment of SD WAN technology at the edge of the network utilising local internet connectivity to provide WAN services to move away from expensive and complex MPLS connectivity and move to the ‘Site of the Future’. (SoTF)
This transformation programme had begun, but when the previous incumbent’s contract was terminated NSC was appointed to step in and run the programme without interruption.
NSC’S SOLUTION
NSC moved into the role, seamlessly providing the range of professional services required for this programme including project management, design and architect services, service delivery along with the equipment, staging adherence to Health and safety protocols necessary to work in such closely controlled environments.
The programme continued without the interruption as nsc were already a preferred supplier to the client and engaged in the SoTF programme providing equipment, logistics and services where the previous incumbent had difficulties in certain geographies. As a result, we were familiar with the processes and requirements around the engagement and able to deliver the required services successfully and without delay.
